From the ground up we'll be covering the fundamentals of Layers, Channels, Paths, Adjustment Layers, Layer Styles, Masks, THE ENTIRE TOOLS PALETTTE, and we'll be looking at all of this in Photoshop CS3. We'll demystify the whole DPI thing, the basics of resizing, conversions, which file formats to use, when, and why.

Although the demonstrations for this class are done in CS3 to stay current, the concepts and lessons are for ALL CS (CS, CS2 and CS3) VERSIONS OF PHOTOSHOP!!

In this amazing and easy to understand class, Geno will take you from overwhelmed to overjoyed!!!   2. Blend Modes
  3. Adjustment Layers
  4. Layer Styles
  5. Clipping Groups and more

Lesson 3 - Color Modes & Output

Image Size & Conversion - When and Why?
  1. DPI - All the mysteries revealed
  2. We will dive into several hands-on lessons covering the basics of what we've learned.

Lesson 4 - Building the sophisticated beast

Together, we will build several projects utilizing most, if not all, of the fundamentals we've learned during the last three lessons. These projects are meant as exercises and practice. The end result will provide you with a firm understanding of the basics of Photoshop, and give you the confidence you need to jump into the more advanced Photoshop courses here at PPSOP.
